Recurring Events

Boys' Night Out   Attention men of Bay Colony!  The first Tuesday of every month is Boys' Night Out.  We meet at Hungry Howies here in Palmetto at 6 pm to enjoy small talk, drink a beer, and/or enjoy some pizza.  All low key and a very informal way to get to know each other better.  Come join us in the bar area.  If we become a larger group we move to the dining area.

Girls' Night Out   Attention ladies of Bay Colony!  The first Wednesday of every month is Girls' Night Out and we meet a various locations at 6:00 or 6:30 PM.  Contact anyone on the Social Committee for further information.

Coast Guard Vessel Safety Inspections   Call Carolyn Schmidt at 612-669-9812 to set up an inspection.  You will be less likely to be boarded with an inspection sticker on your boat.

Bay Colony Annual Garage Sale   This is always targeted for the first weekend in March

The Federation of Manatee County Community Associations (FMCCA) The purpose of this organization is to provide a forum for all Manatee County home, condo and property association to come together for discussing community issues.  The Bay Colony Property Owners Association is a member.

A few examples of the issues the FMCCA address are: annual county budget, taxation, growth, county school system, and State Statutes/ County-City Ordinances affecting all Homeowners Associations.

Aerial View of Bay Colony Quality Speakers make presentations at each of the FMCCA meetings held in the Synovus Bank conference room, at 2520 Manatee Avenue, West, Bradenton, 6:45 PM-9:00 PM on the third Tuesday of every month, except June, July, August and December.  The association publishes a monthly newsletter which is available on their web site, along with their meeting minutes.
